November 2008:

C-Tech Design & Manufacturing works together with Tierra Alta Production Systems to develop a new age work over unit.

Based on a specific customer need, C-Tech engineered, designed and built a new type of well work over unit. C-Tech, working together with Tierra Alta, developed this unit specific for the harsh conditions of Gabon Africa. This unit is built on a Foremost Delta III carrier and has the ability to pull sucker rods, tubing and ESP cable, in both vertical and slant positions. The client operates a number of wells in these difficult conditions and requires the unit to be able to move around the field under its own power and work on a variety of different well and surface conditions. The result of this combined effort is a fit for purpose efficient unit manufactured at considerably lower cost.

The customer has expressed confidence in this major step forward for service units for their specific application and has placed orders for more units.

October 2008:

JPD Enterprises received their new TMX (Truck Mounted X-celerator® ) built by C-Tech Design & Manufacturing. This is the first of two TMX's JPD will receive in October. This Freightliner chassis is equipped with an X250 X-celerator® that is capable of working on both, vertical and slant wells.
